Episode 17 of the tokusatsu drama "Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity" (TV Asahi, Sundays at 9:30 AM), titled "For the Sake of Smiles," will air on June 7th.
Yoshiki (played by Kokona Kaku) and Kotobuki (played by Rana Tanida) finally apprehend the elusive phantom thief, Fade (played by Toru Isono). However, while questioning him in the interrogation room, they receive news that a gigantic meteorite is rapidly approaching Earth.
Reiji (Kohei Nagata) also crosses dimensions to rush to the multi-dimensional Earth I5109, but the meteorite is too big for him to do anything. In this critical situation, he notices something about Yoshiki, who is fighting for everyone's smiles. And as the time limit approaches, the "greatest and strongest guardian deity" descends...
"Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity" is the first installment of Toei's new tokusatsu series, "PROJECT RED." While inheriting the visuals and sci-fi elements of the original "Space Sheriff Gavan," which aired from 1982 to 1983, it is a completely new "Gavan" reconstructed with the latest visual expression and directing methods. The story unfolds in a worldview based on the "multiverse theory," which posits that there is not just one universe.
