Actor Yoshioka Riho appeared at the Nishiginza Chance Center (Chuo-ku, Tokyo) on November 20th to commemorate the release of the "Year-end Jumbo Lottery" and "Year-end Jumbo Mini" lotteries, which were released on the same day. She chose "feather" (wing) as the kanji character that represents this year, and explained why.
Yoshioka, who is now 31, confessed, "Now that I'm in my 30s, I feel like the things I've been working hard on for so long, even though I thought they were difficult in my 20s, are finally paying off, and I feel lighter."
Looking back, she said, "There were many turning points, so I spent the year with wings in my heart, knowing that this was the time to take flight and persevere."
Also attending the event were Tsumabuki Satoshi, Narita Ryo, Yamoto Yuma, and Imada Mio. The "Year-end Jumbo Lottery" and "Year-end Jumbo Mini" tickets will be on sale until December 21st.
