The fourth episode of the TV anime "The Blue Wolves of Mibu," based on the manga about the Shinsengumi by Takeshi Yasuda, known for the soccer manga "DAYS," titled "The Enemy's Name," will be broadcast on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV at 5:30 pm on November 9th.
During morning practice, Nio loses a match against Saito Hajime. While keenly aware of his own powerlessness, he decides to get Kondo Isami to train him, saying, "If you want to be there, show it with your attitude!" Later, while patrolling the city with Hijikata Toshizo and Hajime, he discovers a man holding a child hostage. Hajime calmly analyzes that it would be better not to provoke him in a clumsy way, but Nio shouts, "Let go of the child!"
"The Blue Wolves of Mibu" has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha) since 2021. Set in Kyoto at the end of the Edo period, it depicts the way of life of the Shinsengumi.
