The 40th episode of the 21st installment of the popular anime series "Pretty Cure," "Wonderful Pretty Cure!", "The Big Dog and Cat Incident," will be broadcast on ABC TV and TV Asahi at 8:30 a.m. on November 10.

After hearing Satoru's opinion that "Gaou might be here," Komugi and her friends come to Toho Shrine. There is no one to be found in the shrine grounds, but Komugi and Nico sense that Gaou was here recently by smell and presence. Nico, who has taken on a human form, tries to focus her mind and follow Gaou's presence. However, Nico's powers, which are still unstable, go out of control, and with a strong light, Iroha turns into a dog and Mayu turns into a cat.

To recover, they need lots of smiles from everyone, which is the source of their Nico Nico power. Komugi and her friends come down from the mountain and come to the seaside park, and decide to play around in their current forms, since they've come all this way. As Komugi and Iroha race in dog form, and Yuki plays "cat sucking" in human form and teases Mayu with a cat toy, Nico's horns begin to glow as her smile power gathers.

The motif of "Wonderful Precure!" is "animals" and the keyword is "Everyone's friends! Wonderful!". Set in Animal Town, a town where animals and humans live together in harmony, the story depicts the deep bonds that are woven between animals and humans, such as dogs and owners, and cats and owners, and interactions that transcend species. It is also a hot topic that for the first time in the series that began in 2004, a "dog Precure" will appear.

Maria Naganawa will play Cure Wonderful/Inukai Komugi, Atsumi Tanezaki will play Cure Friendy/Inukai Iroha, Hayate Matsuda will play Cure Nyamie/Nekoyashiki Yuki, and Reina Ueda will play Cure Lillian/Nekoyashiki Mayu.
