It has been announced that the "TV Anime 'Golden Kamuy' Orchestra Concert '25", an orchestral concert for the TV anime "Golden Kamuy", based on the manga by Noda Satoru serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" (Shueisha), will be held on February 1, 2025 at the Pacifico Yokohama National Hall (Nishi-ku, Yokohama). A teaser visual depicting Major General Koito dressed in a military band uniform has been released.
The Tokyo Philharmonic Golden Kamuy Symphony Orchestra, formed for the performance mainly by members of the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, will perform live music from the first to fourth seasons of the TV anime, and a special performance featuring cast members is also planned. Kobayashi Chikahiro, who plays Sugimoto Saichi, and Shiraishi Haruka, who plays Asi(ri)pa, will be appearing. The concert will be divided into two parts, afternoon and evening.
In addition to regular tickets, tickets with blankets designed with the orchestra members dressed as Sugimoto and others will also be on sale. Reserved seats for the day and night performances are 9,800 yen, reserved seats with merchandise included are 14,800 yen, obstructed seats are 7,800 yen, and obstructed seats with merchandise included are 12,800 yen. Tickets for both day and night performances are 17,640 yen for reserved seats and 22,640 yen for reserved seats with merchandise included. Tickets will go on sale from November 9th.
Golden Kamuy is a manga serialized in Weekly Young Jump from 2014 to 2022. It depicts the story of "Immortal Sugimoto," who was active in the Russo-Japanese War, who gets hold of clues to buried treasure hidden by a death row inmate in Hokkaido and goes on an adventure with Ainu girls.
