On November 6, WOWOW announced that it will broadcast and stream a special program on Taro Hakase, a violinist active both in Japan and overseas, for four consecutive months starting in December. To start with, they will exclusively broadcast a concert held on December 28 at Tokyo Garden Theater (Koto-ku, Tokyo). From January to March 2025, they will broadcast and stream two concert videos from 2011 to 2022 each month.
On December 28, they will broadcast and stream the final stage of the 2024 concert tour. Hakase formed "TARO HAKASE & THE LADS" with nine top musicians who have participated in the tour since 2020. They released the album "VIBRANT" in August and started a nationwide tour in September. The members have been involved since the songwriting stage, so we can look forward to a new stage for Hakase.
In January, they will broadcast the final performance of the 2022 full orchestra concert and his first performance at Nippon Budokan in 2018. In February, they will broadcast and stream the stage performance he performed in 2016, the 20th anniversary of his solo debut, and the final day of his 2015 Tokyo performance of his 25th anniversary tour, and in March they will broadcast and stream an encore performance of his 2014 acoustic concert and "The Best of Hakase Taro Concert" in 2011.
