A digitally remastered version of "The Wedding Reception and Two Gunshots" from the TV anime " Detective Conan " (Yomiuri TV/Nippon TV, Saturdays at 6pm), based on the popular manga by Gosho Aoyama , will be broadcast on August Getsuku. This is a digitally remastered version of the episode that aired in March 2014.
At Sonoko's invitation, Conan and Ran attend a wedding at a forest church. The main characters are Hatakeyama Yu, head of the Hatakeyama conglomerate, and Ito Miho. According to Sonoko, an acquaintance of the groom Yu, Yu fell in love at first sight with Miho, who was managing the Hatakeyama family's villa, and the two decided to get married. A while later, Miho, who looks tired and pale, is taken to a hotel cottage across the river by her brother Ito Yoshifumi to rest. Yu then gets a call from Miho and leaves his seat. Sonoko, who was about to say goodbye before leaving the venue, realizes that Yu has not returned. At that moment, the cooks rush in, reporting that Yu has collapsed in the parking lot. As the people confirm the bodies and are shocked, gunshots are heard from across the river. The bride and groom were killed in separate locations with the same gun. Each of the suspects had an alibi for the time of the incident.
"Detective Conan" is a popular manga serialized by Aoyama in the manga magazine "Weekly Shonen Sunday" (Shogakukan). It depicts elementary school detective Conan Edogawa solving difficult cases one after another.
