The 18th episode of the new TV anime "Shin Samurai Den YAIBA," based on the manga "YAIBA" by Gosho Aoyama , who is known for " Detective Conan " and other works, titled "The Great Battle of Kawanakajima," will be broadcast on the Yomiuri TV/Nippon TV network at 5:30 pm on August Getsuku.
With Yagyu Jubei and Miyoshi joining their ranks, Haibu and his men are now even stronger, and head off to a second battle with Goemon to reclaim the stolen jewel. When they arrive at Kawanakajima, they are ambushed by Goemon, who was hiding, but they form a line with their allies and fight back. However, they are surrounded by Goemon's Black Demon Ninja Corps. Eventually, thanks to the efforts of Musashi, Jubei, and Nadeshiko, they find a way to defeat the enemy general. Then, the one-on-one battle between Haibu and Goemon begins.
"YAIBA" is a swordplay action manga that Aoyama serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" (Shogakukan) from 1988 to 1993, before "Detective Conan" began serialization. It depicts the exploits of Yaiba Kurogane, an unconventional young swordsman who trains in the jungle with his father. The story follows Tetsujin, who returns to Japan by chance and makes great strides in his quest to become even stronger in a new training ground. The script for the new anime will be fully supervised by Aoyama, the original author. It will be produced by WIT STUDIO, known for "Attack on Titan" and "SPY x FAMILY".
