It has been announced that the light novel "Even Though I'm a Maximum Weak Lady, I Accepted My Powerful Fiance's Bet" (KADOKAWA), which originated on the novel submission website "Shosetsuka ni Naro a Novelist," will be adapted into a TV anime. Written by Hiro Oda, who passed away in June 2024, and illustrated by Tsubasa.v, the light novel tells the story of Pia Rockwell, who is reincarnated as a minor villain in a girls' game, and her fiancé, Rufus Stan, as they try to avoid the possibility of their engagement being broken off and their exile from the country. The series has sold over 1.2 million copies. It has also been announced that Miku Ito will play the protagonist Pia Rockwell and Ryota Osaka will play Ryota Osaka as the main cast members.
A comment from the original author, Oda, before he passed away has been made public, in which he wrote, "I thought it would be bad to get my hopes up too much, so I tried not to think too deeply about it, but now it's been confirmed!! Is this a dream? It must be a dream. Could such a fate have befallen me? I feel a little unbelievable, just like being reincarnated into another world."
Tsubasa.v, who is responsible for the illustrations of the original work, commented, "Congratulations on the decision to make 'Yowaki MAX' into an anime! I'm really looking forward to seeing Pia, Rufus and the others in action in the anime!"

Ito, who plays Pia Rockwell, commented, "Ever since I recorded the voice drama about three years ago, I've always wanted to see these two in an anime, so I was really happy when I heard the news that it would be made into an anime. I would like to continue to do my best to play Pia, who is always at the peak of timidity but also has a dignified beauty. The preciousness of Rufus and Pia will be seen in the anime as well! I hope everyone will look forward to the broadcast."
Osaka, who plays Rufus Stan, said, "I first recorded two or three years ago, and now it's finally been decided that it will be made into an anime! Thank you so much! We only recorded the first part of the drama, so I'm happy that I'll be able to play the rest of it.
