The third episode of NHK's "Drama 10: Shiba's Rules - We Are Dog-Loving Editorial Department" (General TV, Tuesdays at 10pm), starring actors Daito Shunsuke and Iitoyo Marie, titled "Ask Shiba What Shiba Feels, Shiba," will air on October 14th. If the next issue is not a hit, "Shiba ONE" will cease publication and the editorial department will be disbanded. Deciding to do what they want to do thoroughly in the end, each member carries out their own unique project, but they run into trouble...
The drama is based on the non-fiction book "Heisei Dog-crazy Editorial Department" by Yuka Katano. Set in the Shiba Inu magazine "Shiba One," the drama is a human story that gently unravels the tangled hearts of people. Daito plays Shunichi Sagara, the editor-in-chief of the Shiba Inu magazine, and Iitoyo plays Reika Ishimori, an editor who is somehow at odds with Sagara.
In the third episode, if the next issue is not a hit, "Shiba One" will be discontinued and the editorial department will be disbanded. Due to a promise between Sagara (Daito) and the president, Mitarai (Katsumura Masanobu), the editorial department is pushed into a corner just after the first two issues. Not wanting to give up now for Fuku-chan (Fukusuke, voice: Emoto Tokio), and wanting to do everything they want to do since it will be the last, everyone in the editorial department carries out their own ideas.
However, before submission, a problem occurs and four pages of the magazine end up with holes...
