The second promotional video for " MF Ghost 3rd Season," the third season of the TV anime "MF Ghost, " based on the successor to Shuichi Shigeno's popular manga "Initial D, " has been released on YouTube. It depicts the fierce battle of the final race of the third MFG race, "The Peninsula Manazuru," and also features Kanata Katagiri and a red 86. It has also been announced that model and talent Nanako Aizawa will be playing the new character Emma Green.
Aizawa plays Emma Green, a 19-year-old female driver from the UK who drives an Aston Martin Vantage.

"MF Ghost" was serialized in "Young Magazine" (Kodansha) from September 2017 to February 2025. This marks Shigeno's first automobile-themed manga series in about four years, since "Initial D," which ran from 1995 to 2013. Set in Japan in the year 202X, where self-driving cars have become widespread, the story follows Kanata Katagiri Katagiri, a graduate of a British racing school, who takes part in races to achieve a certain goal, as the MFG public road car races gain popularity around the world.
Kanata is a student of Takumi Fujiwara , the protagonist of " Initial D, " and races in a red 86. The appearance of characters from " Initial D, " such as Keisuke Takahashi and Hiroya Okuyama, also attracted attention. The series was also adapted into a TV anime, with the first season airing from October to December 2023 and the second season from October to December 2024. The total number of copies of the comics published is over 7 million.
The third season will begin airing on TOKYO MX and other channels from January 4, 2026. Prior to its TV broadcast, it will be available for streaming on Prime Video on January 1, 2026.
