Be Forever Yamato: Rebel 3199 Stage Greeting Report: Harutoshi Fukui "From here on, it's going to be a raging wave"

The stage greeting for the completion ceremony for the fourth chapter, "Sasha," of " Be Forever Yamato: Rebel 3199 ," the latest installment in the remake series of the popular anime " Space Battleship Yamato ," was held at Shinjuku Piccadilly (Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo) on September 19th. "Yamato 3199" consists of seven chapters, with the fourth chapter premiering on October 10th. Director Harutoshi Fukui said, "We're halfway through, but only about 30% of the total calories have been consumed. The remaining 70% haven't been consumed. (Chapter 4) may be the most mellow. It's aimed at places that Yamato's camera hasn't pointed at before, depicting the flow of human emotions. The mellowness is condensed here. From here on, it's a raging torrent. From there on, it's like a flood of sound and light."

The final episode of Chapter 3 also drew attention when Sasha, played by Megumi Han, appeared as a grown-up. In the original Be Forever Yamato, Megumi's mother, Keiko Han, played Sasha, and Megumi took over the role. Keiko plays Mother Desariam in the remake series.

At this point, the relationship between Sasha and Mother Desarium is unknown, but Director Fukui hinted, "We had anticipated having Keiko Han appear as well. The relationship between them is the key point."

Regarding the upcoming developments, which he says will be "rapt," he said, "Something amazing will happen at the end of the next chapter. The warp dimension from ' Be Forever Yamato' won't be possible, but there will be just as many surprises."

Also appearing on stage to greet the audience were Kuwashima Houko, who plays Mori Yuki, Furukawa Makoto Furukawa, who plays Alphonse, Megumi Han, who plays Sasha, Nakamura Eriko, who plays Kiryu Mikage, and director Yamato Naomichi.

"Be Forever Yamato: Rebel 3199" is a re-imagining of the original works "Be Forever Yamato" and "Space Battleship Yamato III," with a new interpretation added. Fukui will serve as general director and will also be in charge of series composition and scriptwriting. Fukui was in charge of series composition and scriptwriting for the remake series "Space Battleship Yamato 2202: Warriors of Love" and "Space Battleship Yamato 2205: A New Voyage," and will also serve as general director for the latest film.
