It has been revealed that female professional wrestler Saya Kamitani, known as the "Reiwa Evil Queen," will be making a guest appearance in the TBS Sunday Theatre "Reboot" (Sundays at 9pm), starring Suzuki Ryohei, which begins on January 18th. This will be Kamitani's first time appearing in a terrestrial TV drama. In the second episode, she will play a mysterious woman who has a close relationship with the corrupt lawyer Kaieda, played by Yoshi Sakou. Kamitani reflected, "As this was my first drama appearance, I was nervous about the unfamiliar setting, but I was excited about this new challenge!"
The drama is an original work that popular screenwriter Tsutomu Kuroiwa spent three years planning. It is a suspense story about a kind-hearted pastry chef, Hayase Riku (played by Suzuki), who is framed for the murder of his wife, but must abandon his beloved family and past and pose as a corrupt Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department detective, Gido Ayumu, in order to prove his innocence and find the real culprit.
It has also been revealed that Akari Akase, a popular TikToker and cosplayer, will be appearing in the first episode. She will play Rikka, a member of the NPO "Shelter," headed by Machi (Ueno Suzuka), who is a shelter for young people with nowhere to go, and spends her days with the young people like a "family" at "Shelter."

When I first read the script, I felt the excitement of wanting to know what would happen next in each episode, just like reading a novel. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the story will turn out when it is made into a TV drama.
I also tried to portray the character I played, "Rikka," as best I could, showing off her modern-day personality, cunningness, and affection for those she trusts. I hope I was able to convey even a little of the good qualities of Rikka's character.
