Actor Karin Ono will appear on the location program "Gobugobu" (MBS, Kansai local), which will be broadcast from 3:24 pm on September 6th. The MC, comedian Masatoshi Hamada of the comedy duo "Downtown," co-starred with her in a Promise commercial, and as soon as they met, they exchanged the commercial's catchphrase, "Like!", showing just how well they work together.
Although there is a 35-year age difference between the two, Ono said, "I always drive a nice car, so let's take the bus sometimes!" and the location shoot started with an evenly matched relationship. On the bus, they had a lively conversation about their close friendship, including the behind-the-scenes of the "Promise" commercial shoot, where filming ended too quickly.
First, they head to a coffee shop that was founded 104 years ago, but Hamada, who doesn't like bitter coffee, complains, "Are you trying to look cool?!" Hamada says, "When I drink coffee, I feel like I'm going to say 'baba'," but Ono is confused and asks, "What is 'baba'?"
Next, they tried the "Korean donuts," which are characterized by their flashy decorations. When Hamada exclaimed "Sweet!" at the donuts with their watermelon-like coating and decorations, Ono teased him, saying, "Hamada, have you never done a food review before?" Hamada replied with a wry smile, "You know? Yeah, I've never done it."
They will also try their hand at making pork buns at the main store of 551 Horai, and will also smash a watermelon using a special "Hamachan Watermelon" that costs 35,000 yen.
