The 30th episode of the NHK Taiga drama " UNBOUND (Berabou) " (General TV, Sunday 8pm and other times), starring actor Ryusei Yokohama , entitled "Imitation Utamaro", aired on August 10th. In the episode, the ghosts of Utamaro's (Sometani Shota) mother (Mukairi Yuka) and the "man with the scar" Yasu (Takagi Katsuya) appeared as a part of Utamaro's (Sometani Shota) past trauma. The script was written by Yoshiko Morishita, who is known for her work on the highly talked-about "Drama 10: Ooku," which aired on NHK two years ago.

At the 30th event, the yellow-covered "Edo Nama Tsuyaki Kabayaki" sold well, and Koshodo in Nihonbashi was the biggest success since its opening.

Tsutaju (Yokohama) is working on a Kyoka picture book in collaboration with a Kyoka poet and an illustrator, and decides that now is the time to hire Utamaro, who is beginning to be rumored to be a "mimic of Utamaro." After that, Tsutaju asks Utamaro to draw a "picture that is unique to Utamaro," but Utamaro struggles with how to draw it.

Meanwhile, Matsudaira Sadanobu (Inoue Yuki) is invited by Harumasa (Ikuta Toma) to take part in government affairs...

Whenever Utamaro tries to face himself and paint, his mother and Yasu turn into ghosts and torment him. One day, Toriyama Sekien (played by Kataoka Tsurutaro), a master of yokai painting, comes to visit him. Sekien had a great influence on Utamaro when he was a child, and was like a mentor in life. Utamaro applies to become Sekien's apprentice, and leaves Tsutaju for the time being.

At the end of the episode, amid heavy rain and thunder, Haruhisa Hitotsubashi (played by Toma Ikuta) is shown running outside and taking mysterious steps. At the same time, Okitsugu(played by Ken Watanabe) receives news that the Tone River has burst its banks. The episode ends with Haruhisa looking up to the sky and muttering, "The time has come!", before bursting into an eerie laugh.
