The synopsis for the August 17th broadcast of the popular anime "Sazae-san" (Fuji TV, Sundays at 6:30 p.m.) has been released.
◇ "What's in the box?"
When Namihei opens the storeroom, he finds it crammed with empty boxes. It seems that the turban shells had piled up, thinking they could be used for something. Namihei and Fune tell him to clean up, but when it comes time to throw them away, he feels reluctant to do so and is unable to do so. He nests the empty boxes in a large empty box to make it look like he has cleaned up, but Fune tells him that this is not good enough.
◇ "I'm the godfather"
Katsuo is sitting at his desk thinking about something, and Fune and Sazae think he is solving a difficult homework assignment. However, they are surprised when Wakame tells them that Hayakawa has asked him to think of a name for the goldfish he caught at a goldfish scooping event. Katsuo is excited to think of a name that suits the Hayakawa family. Thinking that he can come up with a name by looking at the goldfish, Katsuo goes to the Hayakawa house.
◇ "Wakame, Summer Memories"
Wakame plans a sleepover with Miyuki and Suzuko at her house. They were looking forward to it, but both of them had to cancel due to unexpected plans at the last minute. Seeing Wakame looking dejected, the family wonders if there is something they can do to help. Then Sazae takes out a mosquito net from the storeroom and hangs it in the living room. They plan to enjoy a traditional summer experience by crawling inside the mosquito net.
