It has been announced that a live painting event by manga artist Kenji Tsuruta will be held on July 11th at the merchandise shop of the "Space Battleship Yamato Space Battleship Yamato Yamato," currently being held at Ebina Marui (Ebina City, Kanagawa Prefecture). The completed artwork is scheduled to be displayed at the exhibition.
The exhibition, planned and produced by Hideaki Anno, garnered attention when it was held in Shibuya, Tokyo in March 2025. It featured a selection of valuable materials, including project proposals, character and mecha design drawings and original artwork, and background art. A large timeline space reviewing the 50-year history was also included.
The event at Ebina Marui will run until July 26th.
