A mook (magazine-style book) titled "Mobile Police Patlabor Shiba Shigeo Pia" (published by Pia), featuring Shiba Shigeo, a popular character from the anime and other media series "Mobile Police Patlabor ," will be released on August 5th.
While "Izumi Noa Pia" and "Goto Kiichi Pia" have been released previously, Shiba Shigeo will now be added to the lineup. The cover features an original illustration by Takada Akemi, and the magazine thoroughly explores the charm of Shiba Shigeo, including his famous scenes, memorable quotes, and story recaps. Interviews with Chiba Shigeru, who voices Shiba Shigeo, and Izubuchi Yutaka, the director of the new anime "Mobile Police Patlabor EZY," will also be included.
To commemorate the release of "Mobile Police Patlabor EZY," this edition includes newly drawn illustrations as well as postcards featuring cover illustrations from previously released "Izumi Noa Pia" and "Goto Kiichi Pia." It also comes with an A3 poster featuring memorable scenes and quotes by Shigeo Shiba.
The previously out-of-print magazines "Izumi Noa Pia" and "Goto Kiichi Pia" are being revived as ebooks.
