WOWOW's "Invitation to Takarazuka" introduces the best performances from each group of the Takarazuka Revue. It has been announced that "Mibu Gishi Den" (Snow Troupe 2019) will be broadcast on August 30th. Futo Nozomi, who appeared in this work as a top star of the Snow Troupe at the time, and former special troupe star Ruumi Nagina Ruumi will be providing commentary on the audio commentary.
"Mibu Gishi Den" is a stage adaptation of Jiro Asada's bestselling novel, and depicts the samurai's sense of duty, family love, and friendship through the story of a rural samurai who was highly respected by the Shinsengumi members. Nozomi and Nagisa will talk about the behind-the-scenes stories of the performance that they can only talk about now, as well as their memories of that time, in the audio commentary. The two are both members of the 89th class of the Takarazuka Revue. They will also talk about memories that they can only talk about because they were in the same year, giving a glimpse of their friendship.
"Invitation to Takarazuka: The Legend of Mibu Gishi - with audio commentary by Futo Nozomi and Ruumi Nagina " will be broadcast on WOWOW Live from 5:30 pm on August 30th.
Also, from 5:00 pm on the same day, WOWOW's Takarazuka Revue information program "Takarazuka Premiere" will be broadcast on WOWOW Live. It will feature the musical comedy masterpiece "GUYS AND DOLLS."
