It has been announced that the original animated film "GROTESQQQUE", directed by Nishigori Atsushi, known for the anime "Darling in the Franxx", and produced by CloverWorks, will be released in 2026. The film is made up of three different works, "Ellians", "Yoroshikaku★Shoujo", and "Nocturne: On This Grotesque Night", and new footage that condenses the worldview of each work has been released on YouTube.
The new video, titled "Ellians," features a girl with a pop culture vibe and a mysterious lifeform that seems to be an alien. "Yoroshikaku★Shoujo" depicts a neon-lit town, and beautiful girls fighting are depicted. The last video, "Nocturne: On This Grotesque Night," features four girls against a beautiful landscape, and while we can see a heartwarming scene of them laughing together, there are also girls covered in blood, creating a serious and dark atmosphere.
