It has been announced that Chiikawa Bakery (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo), a bakery inspired by Nagano's popular manga " Chiikawa ," will be selling limited-edition Christmas-themed bread starting December 12. The breads on sale will feature Chiikawa, a Hachiware (white-haired cat), and a rabbit wearing a snow-covered Santa Claus hat.
" Chiikawa Bread (Santa)" is a savory bread filled with mushroom stew, "Hachiware Bread (Santa)" is filled with strawberry milk, and "Usagi Bread (Santa)" is a cheese cream bread. Each is 650 yen.
Starting November 28th, hot drinks and original latte art will be served in original takeaway cups bearing the Chiikawa Bakery logo. Jams such as "Chiikawa Butter Jam," "Hachiware Blueberry Butter Jam," and "Usagi Sweet Potato Butter Jam" (950 yen each) will also be available for purchase.
Chiikawa Bakery opened in October 2024 on the third floor of Omokado at Tokyu Plaza Omotesando.
