The 11th episode of the original anime "LAZARUS" by director Shinichiro Watanabe, known for the anime "Cowboy Bebop," titled "RUNNIN' WITH THE DEVIL," will be broadcast on TV Tokyo on June 15th.
Axel is attacked by the phantom assassin, Ssangyong. Ssangyong approaches Axel in an impossible way, and an endless battle to the death unfolds. Meanwhile, Hersh goes alone to the Army Intelligence Department to stop the assassins sent to Pakistan to kill Doug and Elaina, but is held captive by Schneider. In Pakistan, Doug holds off the pursuers while Elaina heads for Lin.
The story is about a team of agents from around the world, Lazarus, who pursue Skinner, a genius scientist who developed a painkiller called Hapuna, which causes death three years after taking it, in order to save humanity.
Mamoru Miyano will play the protagonist Axel, who is imprisoned due to a certain incident but repeatedly escapes, and whose "hobby is escaping from prison." Voice actors include Makoto Furukawa, Maaya Uchida, Yuma Uchida, Manaka Iwami, Megumi Hayashibara Akio Otsuka, and Koichi Yamadera. MAPPA will produce the film.
