It has been announced that the TV anime " The Ramparts of Ice, " based on the webtoon by Kocha Agasawa , which was serialized on the digital manga service LINE Manga, will be broadcast nationwide on 28 TBS affiliates every Thursday at 11:56 starting from April 2nd. A key visual has been released, depicting Koyuki, Miki, Minato, and Youta on their way home from school. The visual depicts a moment reminiscent of a page from youth, with the road to school bathed in the orange glow of the setting sun and the four turning around as if someone is calling them from behind.
The first PV has also been released on YouTube. The video begins with Koyuki as a middle school student, describing her "long-held beliefs," and continues with scenes of Miki, who is troubled by the gap between the image others have of Koyuki and her true self, Minato, who is level-headed and doesn't put up any barriers with anyone, but can come off as arrogant, and Yota, who holds back his own feelings out of kindness towards those around him. Everyone has their own worries, and the "voices of the heart" that arise are expressed.
The series has been viewed over 160 million times on LINE Manga, and the comics have sold over 2 million copies. It was serialized from January 2020 to April 2022. Koyuki Koyuki is not good at interacting with people, and has built a wall between herself and others. In high school, she spends her time alone, with only her childhood friend, Miki Azumi, to connect with. However, she meets Minato Amemiya, who for some reason begins to close the gap between them, and Yota Hino, a laid-back and kind basketball club member.
The anime will be directed by Mankyu and produced by Studio KAI, with Anna Nagase playing Koyuki Koyuki, Fuka Izumi Shoya Chiba Chiba playing Minato Amemiya, and Keiji Inomata playing Yota Hino.
