It has been revealed that "ALTRI MONDI," the original manga for the TV anime "Spaceship Sagittarius," which aired from 1986 to 1987, will be made into an e-book for the first time in Japan. The original manga is by Italian Andrea Romoli, with the first volume published in 1977 and still ongoing as of 2026. A Japanese version has never been published, but the e-book publishing label Bourbon Comics has launched the "Sagittarius Logbook Project," which will see it distributed for the first time in e-book format.
"Spaceship Sagittarius" is the story of Toppy and Lana, who work at a small space transportation company called Uchuu Benrisha, who are asked by budding archaeologist Giraffe to "bring back Professor Ann, who has set off on an expedition to an uncivilized planet," and who then embark on an adventure through space on the dilapidated spaceship Sagittarius.
Details such as the publication date of the e-book will be announced in the future.
