The lineup for Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi, Monday to Friday 1pm), which will air from June 16th to 20th, has been announced. On the 16th, actress Yukiyo Toake will appear, on the 17th, music group Junretsu, on the 18th, actor Hikari Ishida, on the 19th, singer Saori Yuki, and on the 20th, actor Taro Kawano.
Toake is 82 years old. He says he is in good health and never catches a cold. He revealed that there was one shocking event recently. He lost all his stage work due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and at one point he considered retiring, but he decided to look forward again.
Junretsu is celebrating its 15th anniversary since its debut. It was originally a six-member group, but many members left the group due to withdrawals and graduations. Ushirogami, the only single member, married former AKB group general manager Yui Yokoyama last year.
Ishida's daughters are now 22 and 20 years old. The eldest left home last year to study in Canada, and the second to go to a university dormitory. They both left home at the same time. They cried when they had to say goodbye. They are now back to being a family of four, but they have completely let go of their children and are now volunteering.
Yuki fell off her bed at home last year and broke a bone for the first time in her life. Last year, the 55th anniversary of her debut, she performed in France. She came up with the idea of performing dodoitsu in French while playing the shamisen, and went to a language school.
Kawano has been an actor for 40 years. He has been dating his wife, who he has been married to for 34 years, since before his debut. He reveals the presence of a senior actor who encouraged him to get married. They have two children. His son, Yuhei Kawano, became an actor and performed with him on stage.
