It has been revealed that the popular action RPG "ELDEN RING," which has shipped over 30 million copies worldwide, will be made into a movie.
The film project is being led by Bandai Namco Entertainment and A24, the American film production and distribution company known for the horror film "Midsommar," and will be directed by Alex Garland, who has worked on films such as "Civil War."
"ELDEN RING" is an action RPG set in a dark fantasy world, jointly developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment and FromSoftware. The world view was created by Hidetaka Miyazaki of FromSoftware and George R.R. Martin, known for his fantasy novel series "A Song of Ice and Fire."
