Nguyen Duc, aka "Viet-chan and Duc-chan," who is now 44 years old, will appear on Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi), which will be broadcast at 1:00 p.m. on December 12th.
Doc, the younger brother, was born as a conjoined twin, joined at the lower half. He sent a letter to Kuroyanagi, which led to his appearance on the show. It has been 37 years since he underwent surgery to separate his older brother, Beto. He married 19 years ago and has twin children.
He says he's had a difficult life, but is happy now. He says that Viet, who passed away at the young age of 26, is always in his heart. Doc himself is not in the best of health, but he says his current wish is to live for Viet. He talks about his childhood before the separation surgery, his life now, and his thoughts as a father.
