Episode 6: "I want to transplant the lungs of my husband, who has been diagnosed as brain dead, into my daughter." Hana (Mei Nagano), who covered Mayumi Fujii's (Anne Mei Nagano) desperate appeal, reports on "Newsgate" that it is the current organ transplant system that is preventing the transplant.
After the broadcast, voices of support for the Fujii family spread, but after an article in a weekly magazine, sympathy for Mayumi suddenly turns to criticism. To find out the truth, Hana and Motohashi (Shunsuke Michieda) go to the "Himawari Net Medical Support Center" that Mayumi uses. It's an organization that Shindo has been following for a long time...
In the story, it is revealed that Hana lost her sister and her mother became mentally ill due to a scoop about Shindo's organ trafficking. Because of this past, the members of Newsgate are suspicious of Hana, who is trying to help Mayumi beyond her job, and assign Motohashi to keep an eye on her.
Hana, who had heard from Mayumi that she had decided to have her daughter's organ transplant overseas, got into a taxi, but Motohashi immediately got in as well. "If you can't trust me," Motohashi said, handing Hana his cell phone, but he had asked Yamai (Takuma Otoo) and others to search for his phone using an app beforehand.
Hana and Motohashi arrive at Narita Airport, but the Fujii family is not there. Hana confesses, "I'm sorry, Motohashi. I used you. I told you where we were with GPS, didn't I?" and that she went to Narita to divert everyone's attention from the Fujii family who were heading to Haneda.
However, Motohashi gave an unexpected reply: "I'm sorry. I knew about it. But I think it's good that it happened this way. I don't want to make Hana a criminal." In fact, Motohashi had been informed by Shindo that organ transplants are carried out domestically, not overseas, so he said, "I don't know where Fujii and the others are heading. But I know for sure that Shindo is there."
On social media, many people were surprised at the constant back-and-forth battles between Hana and Motohashi, with comments such as, "The back-and-forth battles were really interesting." Some also linked the plot to Tuki's theme song "Decoy Love," saying, "The plot is exactly like Decoy Love!"
