The seventh episode of "LAZARUS," an original anime directed by Shinichiro Watanabe, known for the anime "Cowboy Bebop," titled "ALMOST BLUE," will be broadcast on TV Tokyo on May 18th.
Lazarus and his team analyze the mysterious numbers left behind in the destroyed AI Naga. They discover that they are the coordinates of four islands that sank due to global warming, and that Skinner has bought all of them. What is Skinner's purpose? To find out, the Lazarus team heads to each island. There, they see blue skies and beautiful seas for the first time. Meanwhile, Elaina, who remained in the hideout, unexpectedly learns Hirsch's secret.
The story is about a team of agents from around the world, Lazarus, who pursue Skinner, a genius scientist who developed a painkiller called Hapuna, which causes death three years after taking it, in order to save humanity.
Mamoru Miyano will play the protagonist Axel, who is imprisoned due to a certain incident but repeatedly escapes, and whose "hobby is escaping from prison." Voice actors include Makoto Furukawa, Maaya Uchida, Yuma Uchida, Manaka Iwami, Megumi Hayashibara Akio Otsuka, and Koichi Yamadera. MAPPA will produce the film.
