"Sandwichman & Mana Ashida's Hakase-chan " (TV Asahi) is a show in which children with knowledge and talents that rival those of adults give funny lessons as " Hakase-chan " (teacher). The show will air from 6:30 pm to 8:54 pm on May 3rd and will explore the seven great mysteries of Mount Takao, a popular mountain in Hachioji, Tokyo, which is easily accessible from the city center.
As they climb Mt. Takao, the show's familiar face "Temple and Shrine Hakase-chan," Maruyama Yuka (11 years old, 6th grade), and comedian Tsukaji Muga from the comedy duo "Drunk Dragon," approach the mystery. The first mystery the two encounter is "A soba restaurant penetrated by a divine tree." At the foot of Mt. Takao, a long-established soba restaurant founded in the Edo period, a persimmon tree about 150 years old penetrates the building. Even when the restaurant was expanded, the tree was not cut down, but was protected by allowing the ceiling to penetrate. What is the reason for taking such good care of the persimmon tree?
Joshinmon Gate stands at the entrance to Yakuo-in Temple, which stands on the mountainside. Even though Yakuo-in is a Buddhist temple, Joshinmon Gate is shaped like a torii gate, which is the symbol of Shinto shrines. Why is that? In addition, the mysteries of the "cedar tree that moves by itself" and the "mysterious tower that brings 100 times the good fortune" will be unravelled.
In the studio, MC Mana Ashida takes on the challenge of the mountain priest's training, which is still practiced today. In order to experience the "silent act" of not saying a word, if she can endure interference for 30 seconds and maintain no reaction, she will succeed. She goes into full actor mode, but falls into a trap set by Mikio Date.
