The fourth episode of the TV anime "Witch Watch," based on the popular manga by Kenta Shinohara that is currently being serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), titled "Tengu - Kazamatsuri Kanshi," will be broadcast on April 27th in the MBS/TBS Sunday 5pm anime slot.
To protect Nico, Kanshi, a crow familiar, appears before Nico and Morihito. Kanshi is a tengu who lived in the mountain where Nico trained in magic. Ibuki asked Kanshi to protect Nico as well as Morihito, but Kanshi views Morihito, an ogre, as an enemy.
"Witch Watch" is a manga by Shinohara, who is known for "SKET DANCE" and "Astra Lost in Space", and began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Jump" in February 2021. It is a fantastical "magical" comedy that depicts the cohabitation life of Wakatsuki Nico, who is training to become a witch, and her childhood friend Otogi Morihito (Morihito), a high school student with the power of a demon. Morihito is given the mission of being a familiar who protects Nico from a prophesied disaster, and a future full of difficulties and wonders begins. The anime will be directed by Ikehata Hiroshi, who has worked on "Kiratto Pri☆Chan" and other works, and will be produced by Vibrant Animation Studio, which has worked on "The Quintessential Quintuplets ∫∫". It will be broadcast for two consecutive seasons.
