To commemorate the birthday of Takeshi Goda, also known as Gian, a character from the popular anime "Doraemon" (TV Asahi, Saturday 5pm) on June 15th, it has been announced that an original episode entitled "Does Gian Hate Sundays?" will be aired during the regular broadcast on June 14th.
"Does Gian Hate Sundays?" depicts the commotion that occurs on Gian's birthday. This year, it is a Sunday, so Gian is annoyed that everyone has forgotten his birthday. Meanwhile, when he finds out that Suneo is entering a photo contest using photo panels of idols, he comes up with the idea of holding a similar Gian photo contest...
It was also announced that a photo contest based on the episode will be held, and viewers are invited to take part. The theme is "Make Gian Happy", and entries will be accepted on the anime's official website. The application period is from April 26th to May 16th at 5pm. Excellent works will be introduced on the June 14th broadcast, and winners will receive an original Gian acrylic stand. The official Doraemon/ Fujiko F. Fujio YouTube channel showed the comedy duo "Kagaya" taking part in the contest.
