TERU, the vocalist of the rock band GLAY, will be appearing on Kuroyanagi Tetsuko's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi), which will be broadcast at 1:00 pm on April 25th.
GLAY is celebrating its 30th anniversary since its debut. They have been performing overseas for over 20 years, and last year they performed with the British rock band Queen and appeared at one of Taipei's largest music festivals, demonstrating their international success. This was TERU's second time performing with them, the last time being in 1999 when they held a "legendary" live concert for 200,000 people. We will also introduce footage of TERU, who was 28 years old at the time.
All four members grew up in Hakodate, Hokkaido. Seven years ago, they built a recording studio near their parents' home in Hakodate. Since then, they have been returning home more often, and they say they have come to appreciate the charm of Hakodate once again. They also spend more time with their parents, and are more likely to feel the love of their father and mother.
