On April 22nd, model and actress Koki, the second daughter of Kimura Takuya and Shizuka Kudo, visited Kawai Shrine (within Shimogamo Shrine), a World Heritage Site in Kyoto, to pray for the success of her starring movie "True Beauty After Proposal" (directed by Hoshino Kazunari, to be released on May 1st). She appeared in a kimono with a vivid floral pattern on a black background, and showed off a mature look by matching the colors of her accessories, such as her half-collar and obi-jime, with the pattern of her kimono.
Koki revealed, "Actually, this kimono was made by someone who is like a grandmother to me," and said with a smile, "I was actually planning to wear it at my Coming of Age Ceremony, but I wasn't able to, so I'm happy that I was able to wear it for the first time today."
Co-stars Keisuke Watanabe and Keito Tsuna appeared in traditional Japanese clothing and prayed for a hit in front of the main hall. They also tried their hand at praying for beauty by drawing their ideal self on a mirror votive tablet, a type of hand mirror that is said to make people beautiful on the inside and out when offered to the shrine.
Finally, she appealed, "The relationships between the three characters as adults will change significantly, and there will be many heart-fluttering scenes, so I hope you will look forward to it."
