It has been announced that the new TV anime series "Cute High Earth Defense Club Haikara!", based on the anime "Cute High Earth Defense Club" series, will be broadcast on TOKYO MX and other stations from July 7th. The second key visual has also been released, depicting Doumeki Juurito, Chichibu Samon, Nekoma Yu, and the mysterious prairie dog Can who controls the student council at Mayunan High School. A promotional video has also been released, featuring a series of unique characters set in a retro Taisho-era townscape. It also shows the spectacular transformation scenes that are unique to the "Defense Club" series.
Five voice actors will play the main characters who are members of the Kurotama dormitory of Mayunan High School and act as the "High Color Romantic Group," and three voice actors will play characters from the "Bankara New Team," a group of students who are part of the student council and plot to conquer the world. The cast includes Takano Taiga as Ryuho Nagaoka Ryuho as Sukayu Airushi, Kanze Tomoaki as Ubana Sousuke, Koike Takahiro as Oshamanbe Ushio, Kusano Taichi as Aso Sorata, Nishimura Tomomichi as Nuru, Yohei Azakami as Doumeki Jyutō Reito, Daiki Yamashita as Nyuto Samon, Hiroki Yasumoto as Nekoma Yu, Yasumoto Hiroki as Can, and Tomokazu Sugita as Gotemba dormitory director.
