It has been revealed that a new variety show hosted by talent Hiromi, "Discovery! Startup Hiromi's Good Morning Meeting" (Fuji TV, Sundays 6:30 am), will begin on May 4th.
This business variety show starts the morning with budding entrepreneurs who may change the future of Japan introducing their special new businesses and ideas. Hiromi, who gained experience as a manager during the time he took a break from showbiz, is well versed in business and, together with senior entrepreneurs who have already succeeded in their own businesses, he will listen to the innovative ideas and concerns of the young budding entrepreneurs and give them advice.
"Breakfast meetings," which utilize breakfast time, are becoming popular among business people. In this program, the participants will talk while eating the breakfast that senior entrepreneurs usually eat.
After completing the first recording, Hiromi commented that he had spoken with various types of entrepreneurs, and said, "It was interesting. From the people who are just starting out, it's still unclear whether their business will actually become a business, but I could feel their passion! From the successful CEOs who are already running their own companies, I learned a lot, seeing both sides of the story. I learned a lot, but what am I doing when I say I learned something (laughs)."
He also spoke about the program, saying, "It is a forum for people who think, 'I want to do something, I want to start a business, it would be great if the world were like this,' to make presentations, and I think the program allows viewers to join in the conversation as senior entrepreneurs calmly examine the content of the presentations. Because it's a Sunday morning, rather than asking people to work too hard, I hope it will create an atmosphere that makes people realize, 'Wow, there are young people like this,' 'What companies are like on a normal day,' and 'There are people who chat casually in morning meetings.'"
