On March 31, TV Asahi announced that it had achieved a triple crown in the average viewer ratings (surveyed by Video Research, Kanto region, hereafter the same) for fiscal year 2024 (April 2024 to March 2025) for individual viewership and household viewership in the all-day, golden time, and prime time slots. This was the first time since the station's launch that it had achieved a triple crown for individual viewership and the third consecutive year for household viewership.
In terms of individual overall viewer ratings, the all-day time slot (6AM-12PM) recorded 3.5%, the golden time slot (7PM-10PM) 5.3%, and the prime time slot (7PM-11PM) 5.3%. It was the third consecutive year that it ranked first in the all-day time slot, the first time in 12 years in the golden time slot, and the fourth consecutive year in the prime time slot.
The household viewer ratings were 6.4% all day, 9.0% in the golden time slot, and 9.1% in the prime time slot. It was the fourth consecutive year that it ranked first in the all day slot, the third consecutive year in the golden time slot, and the fifth consecutive year in the prime time slot.
TV Asahi cited news and information programs such as "Hodo Station" (Monday to Friday, 9:54 p.m.) as the regular programs that led the ratings in fiscal 2024. "Hodo Station" recorded an average of 5.8% for the year, making it the top show in its time slot for the sixth consecutive year. Saturday night's "Saturday Station" (Saturday 8:54 p.m.) also topped its time slot for the fourth consecutive year with an average of 5.3%, while "Udo Times" (Sunday 8:56 p.m.), which started in October last year, also performed well, topping its time slot with an average of 5.2% in the second half of the year.
The morning show "Good! Morning" (Monday to Friday 4:55am, Saturday 6am, Sunday 5:50am) also recorded an average of 4.8% for the year in the 7am weekday slot, topping the commercial broadcasting stations in that time slot for the second consecutive year. "Hatori Shinichi Morning Show" (Monday to Friday 8am) recorded an average of 5.5% for the year, leading the time slot for the fifth consecutive year. "Oshita Yoko Wide! Scramble" also topped its time slot for the third consecutive year, with 2.8% for the first part (10:25am to noon) and 2.9% for the second part (noon to 1pm).
