It has been announced that the first terrestrial TV show starring Takashi Nikaido of the popular group Kis-My-Ft2 will be broadcast on TV Asahi's monthly variety slot "Barabara Monthly" (Monday to Thursday 2:55am to 3:05am, Kanto local), starting from April 1st, on Tuesday nights. The show is called "Nika Game." It is a program adaptation of the popular segment of "What Can You Do with 100,000 Yen?" (Mondays 8pm), currently hosted by Kis-My-Ft2 and comedy duo Sandwichman, and this time it will be broadcast with the full cooperation of the Korean drama "Squid Game" (Netflix), which it is a parody of.
Nikaido, who plays the "idiot character," will take on an English quiz called "Super Basic English Death Game." Some of the props used in the show, such as the "Yonhee Doll" and the Pink Guard costumes, are from the original "Squid Game."
Joining Nikaido in the game will be Shuuto Inomata, a new member of the popular group "timelesz," and Kemuri Matsui of the comedy duo "Reiwa Roman." This will be Inomata's first time appearing on a variety show on his own.
After the terrestrial broadcast ends, it will also be streamed on TVer and TELASA.
