The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Str:Popular light novel to be made into TV anime starting in October, with Shuichiro Umeda playing the main character

It has been announced that Alto's light novel "The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest" will be adapted into a TV anime and will begin airing in October. It has also been announced that voice actor Shuichiro Umeda will play the main character, Alec Yugret.

The story is about Alec Yugret, the royal court magician who secretly supports the crown prince Regulus Galdana, and is supposed to focus on providing auxiliary magic to protect the too-weak Regulus, but he is suddenly expelled and loses his job. However, he reunites with his friend YoRHa Eisents, with whom he fought in a party that was once called "legendary" during his time at the magic academy, and a new adventure begins... The book has been published by K Ranobe Books (Kodansha), and the comic adaptation is also gaining popularity.
