It has been announced that the second season of the popular anime and game series "Himitsu no AiPri," a TV anime from the "Pretty Series," titled "Himitsu no AiPri Ring Edition," will be aired every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. starting April 6th. The first season was aired every Sunday at 10 a.m. on TV Tokyo, but the time will be changed. The announcement was made at a press conference for the second season held in Tokyo on February 27th.
In the second season, the double protagonists Himari Aozora and Mitsuki Hoshikawa advance to their second year of junior high school and take part in an eye-pri contest, aiming to become the "Eternal Eye Pri" of their dreams. New characters will also appear, such as Princess Ring Clover, the "princess with a secret" who is the key to the second season, and Himari's juniors. The cast will include Kitamura Eri as Princess Ring Clover, Kawaguchi Rina as Rokudou Eru, Tsuchiya Rio as Igarashi Julia, Terasawa Momoka as Hachioji Vivi, Kobayashi Tatsuyuki as Nanaura Subaru, and Omori Kisei as Nanaura Otome.
Nagisa Saito, a former member of the idol group "=LOVE" and an actor, will be playing Paradise Academy's librarian, Wako-sensei, and will be taking on the challenge of voice acting for the first time in anime. It was also announced that the idol group "Cho Tokimeki Promotion Department" will be in charge of the ending theme for the second season.
