It has been revealed that Nagisa Saito, a former member of the idol group "=LOVE" and an actor, will be appearing as a voice actor in the second season of the popular anime and game "Pretty Series: Himitsu no AiPri" TV anime, "Himitsu no AiPri Ring Edition". Saito, who has served as an ambassador for "Himitsu no AiPri", will play Paradise Academy librarian Wako-sensei, marking her first foray into anime voice acting. It was also announced that the idol group "Cho Tokimeki Promotion Department" will be in charge of the ending theme for the second season.
The announcement was made at the announcement event for the second season held in Tokyo on February 27th. Saito expressed her joy, saying, "I love the Pretty Series, so I'm happy to be involved in the anime," and commented about the recording, "I was nervous. There were some parts that were different from the TV drama and movie, so I struggled, but with each episode, people started saying, 'It sounds like Wako-sensei,' and I'm happy about that."
Also appearing at the presentation were Fujidera Mitsunori, who plays the double protagonist Aozora Himari, Hiratsuka Sae, who plays Hoshikawa Mitsuki, and the Super Tokimeki Promotion Department.
In "Himitsu no AiPri", the main characters jump into a "secret world" to become idol princesses "Aipuri". The first season of the TV anime is currently being broadcast on TV Tokyo every Sunday at 10 am.
In the second season, Himari and Mitsuki, who have now advanced to their second year of junior high school, will compete in the Eye-Pri contest, aiming to become the "Eternal Eye-Pri". New characters will also appear, including Ring Clover, the "princess with a secret" who is the key to the second season, and Himari's juniors. The broadcast time for the second season has been changed and it will be aired every Sunday at 9:30 am starting from April 6th.
