It has been announced that the 32nd and latest film in the popular anime series "Crayon Shin-chan" - "Crayon Shin-chan : Super Brilliant! The Burning Kasukabe Dancers" - will be released on August 8th. The latest film is set in India for the first time in the series' history, and the latest trailer has been released on YouTube, depicting the Kasukabe Defense Force visiting the "dancing nation."
The trailer shows the Kasukabe Defense Force coming to India, excited to see the scenery and chapati that they have never seen before, and to see things unique to India, exclaiming "Namaste!" While enjoying sightseeing, Shinnosuke and Bo-chan visit a strange general store, open a closed door at the back of the store, and find a backpack in the shape of a nose hidden there. When Bo-chan accidentally puts a piece of paper from the backpack into his nose, his demeanor changes, transforming him into a "tyrant (Bo-kun)" with his trademark runny nose, sharp expression, and quick movements. The trailer shows the Kasukabe Defense Force rising up to get Bo-chan back to normal. At the end, Bo-chan is seen brushing away Shinnosuke's hand and saying the shocking words, "What do you know about me?"
A teaser visual was also released, depicting Shinnosuke and friends striking an Indian-style dance pose. Bo-chan is seen on the second floor of a building, away from Shinnosuke and friends, sporting a fearless smile.
It was also announced that advance tickets with special bonuses will be on sale at cinemas nationwide from March 7. The bonus is the "Nan, this! Super gorgeous naan-shaped Shin-chan charm!" featuring a dancing Shinnosuke and naan, a typical Indian food.
The latest work is a dance entertainment movie set in India, where Shinnosuke and the Kasukabe Defense Force dance and dance. The Kasukabe Defense Force came to India to participate in an entertainment festival and enjoyed sightseeing in India, but when they found a backpack that resembled the shape of a nose in a suspicious general store, Bo-chan was led by an evil power and became a "tyrant (Bo-kun)" and went on a rampage... That's the story. Shinnosuke and his friends try to stop Bo-chan, who has obtained a threatening power that could shake the world.
The film will be directed by Masakazu Hashimoto, who has worked on the Crayon Shin-chan chan movie series such as "Honeymoon Hurricane: The Lost Hiroshi" and "Mononoke Ninja Chinpuden," and the script will be written by Kimiko Ueno, who has worked with Hashimoto on numerous Crayon Shin-chan chan movie series.
The first film in the Crayon Shin-chan chan series, Crayon Crayon Shin-chan : Action Kamen VS High-Grade Demon King, was released in 1993. The first full-length 3DCG animation in the series' history, New Dimension! Crayon Shin-chan Shin-chan: The Movie: Psychic Battle - Tobe Tobe Temaki Sushi, was released in 2023, which also became a hot topic. The box office revenue of Crayon Shin-chan -chan: Our Dinosaur Diary (directed by Shinobu Sasaki), released this year, exceeded 2.5 billion yen, breaking the record for the highest box office revenue in the series' history.
