It has been announced that voice actress Ayane Sakura will be appearing on the NHK Educational TV variety show "Welcome! Yokimaru House," which will be broadcast from 7:00 pm on February 25th. Sakura is the voice and narrator of the yellow-haired character Marusuke (a baby) in the show, and on the 25th broadcast she will appear dressed as the grown-up "real" Marusuke who has traveled back in time from 25 years in the future.
In the future, Marusuke's job is as a popular voice actor, just like Sakura-san, and on the show they play two games related to voice actors. In "A word with Marusuke and a photo," Papa, Yokiko, Sabo-san and Shushu think of lines that go well with a photo, and Sakura reads them out for them. The four of them make unreasonable requests, and Sakura responds with emotional acting. In "Special Move Pose Relay," there are a series of special moves that are full of things to poke fun at. Sakura has a hard time memorizing the pose of the person in front of her.
Sakura commented, "It was a very peaceful recording session and I had a lot of fun. I had heard rumors about it, but there was practically no script and it was all ad-lib, which surprised me! I never expected to come to Yokimaru House and have an experience like this...I hope you enjoy watching Marusuke lose his confidence as a voice actor over time!"
In the song corner of the show, the cast will debut their original song "The Earth is Big!" The vocal group "GRe4N BOYZ" wrote the lyrics and composed the song.
