Photos have been released from the recording of the quiz show "Quiz $ Millionaire" (Fuji TV), which will be hosted by Kazunari Ninomiya for the second time and will be revived as a New Year's special in 2026 for the first time in about 13 years.
"Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" is a quiz show that became a huge hit thanks to the late Mino Monta's catchphrase, "Final Answer?". It aired regularly from 2000 to 2007, and then aired special episodes irregularly until 2013.
The contestants this time were Tsuyoshi Muro, Fuma Kikuchi, Kanna Hashimoto, Ano-san, and two secret guests, and it was said that one tough competitor managed to answer all the questions and win 10 million yen.
Muro appeared in high spirits to meet Ninomiya, who is a good friend both in public and private, but after Ninomiya made some extremely upsetting remarks, he started the show in the worst possible condition. Before the show, he had been enthusiastic, saying, "I want to get at least one more question and feel Ninomiya's 'pauses'," but he was thrown off balance by the changes in Ninomiya's 'pauses'.
Kikuchi appears in a brave, family-branded hakama, but he faces numerous crises when faced with difficult problems. One of the relief measures he uses is the telephone, which brings in a reassuring helper.
Hashimoto appeared in a gorgeous kimono. Hashimoto, who stars in the Getsuku drama "Yandoku!" (Mondays at 9pm) which starts on January 12th, was excited about winning the prize, saying, "I want to bring some treats to the set of the Getsuku drama! And I want to make a staff hoodie!" Unfazed by Ninomiya, he remained calm, saying, "I'm good at handling pressure."
When asked by Ninomiya about her confidence in quizzes, Ano replied nonchalantly, "I'm not good at quiz shows at all. I've never really studied them." She said she "doesn't understand the world," but added that she "likes making choices," and surprised Ninomiya by using her inspiration and memory to move pieces one after another.
It will be broadcast from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm on January 1st. A selection of the best scenes from "Mino's Millionaire" will also be broadcast from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
