Honoka Nishimura, a former member of the idol group "Last Idol", has been cast in the short vertical drama "Animal Revenge: Lost Bonds". Nishimura, who is an active talent with over 1.9 million followers on social media, will be making her first appearance in a drama.
The drama will be available on the short drama app "Vigloo" from February 13th. The story follows "animal detective" Doi Toru (Ueno Kazuki), who gained the ability to talk to animals after the death of his pet, as he searches for his sister who disappeared three years ago. Nishimura plays Mizushima Taeko, an elite detective at the Metropolitan Police Department who teams up with Toru. She has mastered various martial arts since she was a child and is confident in her physical strength.
Nishimura commented, "I was worried about whether I could do the job, but I've loved animals since I was a child, so I thought I could do my best if there were animals on the scene. With Doi's help, we talk to the animals and solve the case. Various animals appear, and there are many soothing scenes, so I hope you will pay attention to it."
