The fourth episode of the Sunday Theatre drama " Mikami Sensei " (TBS, Sunday 9:00 pm) starring actor Tori Matsuzaka was broadcast on February 9th. A fax from a person claiming to be Yamato Takeru that arrived at Rintoku Gakuen became a hot topic on social media.
◇The following contains spoilers
Koreeda ( Riho Yoshioka), who called Gosho (Matsuzaka), analyzed the fax, saying, "There is a checkpoint that Yamato Takeru built in preparation for an attack by the Emishi. That was where Kasumigaseki was. In other words, I think Yamato Takeru means bureaucrat." Staring straight into the Gosho's eyes, Koreeda pointed out, "Yamato Takeru, are you Mikami Sensei?"
When the emperor replied, "No, that's not it," Koreeda replied, "This Hirakawa Gate is located just opposite the Sakurada Gate in Kasumigaseki. It is said to be the back gate of Edo Castle. In other words, many people entered Rintoku through the back door. And 'Rintoku is a country's Mahoroba.' This is a parody of Yamato Takeru's death poem. The original was 'Yamato is a country's Mahoroba.' In other words, Yamato is a very good country, and this 'Mahoroba' is written in kanji..." and wrote 'Masahide' on the whiteboard. Then Koreeda said, "Did you notice? The name of the ancient director (Kazuki Kitamura). When written in these characters, it is read as 'Masahide.'"
Meanwhile, another fax arrives at Rintoku Academy. "I am the one who will bring down the Kusanagi sword on those who enter through the Hirakawa Gate. Your wrongdoings will soon be exposed. Yamato Takeru no Mikoto," Koreeda reads out loud from the fax. However, Mizobata (played by Takaya Sakoda) snatches the fax from Koreeda and immediately shreds it...
On social media, comments were made such as, "Professor Koreeda, you did a great job deciphering the mysterious document. It feels like we've gotten a lot closer to the truth," "It seems suspicious that the chief immediately shredded the newly sent fax. Isn't it like he's saying he has a hunch?" and "It just seems like Sakoda is up to something bad in the shadows."
