Former crime reporter Noriko Tokairin will be appearing on Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi), which will air from 1:00 p.m. on February 13th.
Noriko Tokairin, who turned 90 last year and is full of energy, has fallen twice since the beginning of this year, cracking the bones in her left hand and needing stitches on her forehead, leaving her completely injured. She says that the reason she is able to "recover" even after injuries is because she gets energy from "oshikatsu." She is currently in her "third love." She reveals that she is crazy about guitarist Hiroto and that she is friends with him on LINE.
He says that since he was always on the alert during his entertainment reporter days, he is now enjoying the things he left undone during those days. When he was raising his children, he used to cook properly, but now that he lives alone, he does things casually. He says that his granddaughter, who is a junior high school student, is writing a novel, and when he read it, he was impressed by the difficult kanji characters used in it.
