To commemorate the 135th anniversary of Yebisu Beer, Sapporo Beer will be holding a special project in collaboration with manga artist Hirohiko Araki,"Exploring Yebisu through Beautiful Women Paintings," from February 13th to May 31st at YEBISU BREWERY TOKYO (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo).
In addition to the exhibition tracing the roots of the beauty posters that have colored the history of Yebisu Beer, this project will also feature a giant work of art approximately 3 meters tall that Araki has updated to a modern style. The world view expressed in the "Yebisu Beer Hirohiko Araki Original Design Can," which will be released on February 12, will be available to enjoy at the venue as an even more colorful design.
In addition, the venue will be selling a limited number of original beers, including the original "Ukegumono" (barrel product), brewed with Araki's work in mind. In addition, original goods such as T-shirts, pouches, and clear files with original designs by Araki will also be on sale.
