The 89th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Omusubi " starring Kanna Hashimoto was broadcast on February 6th, and viewers were drawn to the interaction between Yui (Hashimoto) and the people of the shopping district depicted at the beginning of the episode.
In the 88th episode (broadcast on February 5th), Yui was encouraged by Tsukamoto (Mari Hamada), the head of the nutrition department, to see how the NST (Nutrition Support Team) works, and met with its members. Yui accompanied the rounds and participated in the conference, and decided to join the NST.
At the beginning of episode 89, Yui, who had returned to her family's hair salon Yoneda, reported to Misae (Kimura Midoriko), who runs a bakery in the shopping district, and Fukuda (Okajima Hideaki), the director of a chiropractic clinic, that she would be joining the NST. Misae was surprised and impressed, saying, "NST? I've never heard of that before."
At that moment, the owner of the tailor shop, Yozo (Uchiba Katsunori), came running in and started rambling on, "Yui-chan, I heard! You've made quite a decision at your age," and "I know a lot about you, but that path is tough."
"Hmm? Which path?" Yui was confused, so Yozo asked, "Yui-chan, are you going to go to a comedy school now?" Hearing this, Misae said, "Yui-chan went to NST!", to which Yozo was confused, "T? Isn't it C?" When Misae replied, "No! It's T!" with her arms outstretched, Yui retorted, "How many people know this?"
The show included a line that alluded to Yoshimoto Kogyo's training school, NSC (Yoshimoto Comprehensive Performing Arts Academy), and comments on social media included, "There's a lot to point out lol," " Omusubi is so cute he couldn't help but do the NSC bit," "It's totally Shinkigeki lol," and "Misae is hilarious as the TT Brothers from Chocolate Planet."
Also, since Uchiba, who plays Yozo, is a first-year student at NSC Osaka, which is affiliated with Yoshimoto Kogyo, there were comments such as, "To see him make jokes at NSC, he's no wonder, the former leader of Yoshimoto Shinkigeki," "As expected of Uchiba, he knows the harshness of comedy," and "It's a sure thing to get Uchiba to play the role (it's great)."
