Entertainer Sakai Masaaki and Sakai's second daughter, actress Sakai Koharu, will appear on Kuroyanagi Tetsuko's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi), which will be broadcast at 1pm on February 7th. The show is now in its 50th year, and Masaaki has been appearing on it since it first began broadcasting in 1976. Masaaki has two daughters. Koharu has an older sister, and both of them are already married.
Koharu announced her marriage in 2021, but was unable to hold a wedding ceremony due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They held their dream garden wedding in September last year, at a villa that Masaaki built around the time Koharu was born. Blessed with good weather, Masaaki and Koharu performed a dance. The video of the dance looked like a scene from a movie, and Kuroyanagi was mesmerized.
As a father, Masaaki must have been very happy, but he had mixed feelings. The villa was filled with memories of his young children, and it reminded him of the time they were separated after their divorce, so he felt like he was being taken back to the past. He also repented once again to his daughter for making her feel lonely.
